GoGuardian Teacher: Snapshot / Screenshots

Using Snapshots, you can quickly document when a student is off-task or on a site they shouldn't be. Snapshots are saved along with other past session data on the classroom's Sessions tab.

  1. Click the screen of the "off-task" student
  2. Hover over the "screenshot icon" at the bottom to the far right
  3. Click on the "camera" icon

To view screenshots from the current session:

  1. Click on the "Timelines" or "Screens" drop-down menu in the top right corner
  2. Click on "Snapshots" on the drop-down menu
  3. Click on "Download Snapshot" to save it to your desktop

To view screenshots from a past session:

  1. Select your "classroom"
  2. Click on the "Sessions" tab
  3. Click on the "Session" in which the snapshot was taken
  4. Click on the "Timelines" drop-down menu in the top right corner
  5. Click on "Snapshots" on the drop-down menu
  6. Click on "Download Snapshot" to save it to your desktop

To save screenshots to your Google Drive:

(NOTE: If the primary account is changed in the resulting popup the snapshot will not save properly to your Google Drive.  This is due to API limitation.)
